Thanks for the info, luciaaa233, seams you have, as well as, spend lots of time with music... However, the message was about their Performance, and text in THEIR songs. Therefore, I've never heard anyone performing this particular song better than Yalla. But it does not mean that I did not appreciate your effort :)

Песня на слова Тагора глубока и лирична. Ребята Ялла хорошо поют. Но не хуже когда-то давно её исполняли две девушки, которые с ними соревновались. С удовольствием послушал бы запись с их исполнением.

I think Yalla are, at least for me, the best Russian-speaking band of all time in Central Asia. I grew up listening to their songs in the early 80s. "Poslednyaya poema" is one of their gems. Thanks for posting.

wow ! Well, the music is written by a genius Russian composer Alexei Rybnikov, and lyrics - by Bengali philosopher and mystic, and iconic figure in his country - Rabindranath Tagore. But I am sure there are genius creations from some Uzbek people, too!
