Oh the original Polish language version is on Youtube if you haven't found it yet. I watched it and the dialogue was a bunch of gibberish to me. The closest language I know to Polish is Russian which I don't speak or comprehend well but it was still worth watching.

Look , none of us know for sure the answer to this one , all i have said in my comments was that vikings on horses is not a crazy idea , They MIGHT have been carried on ships , The Normans , even if they were not Vikings prooved this was possible . I admit it seems unlikely but horses do survive long sea journeys . The Conquistadors took theirs to America, and just saying something like yeah well Conquistadors weren't vikings does not change the fact that horses COULD make a long voyage .

In reply to your original comment "LOL why are vikings using horses?" i have in front of me a book entitled Viking Mythology by John Grant there are at least 8 illustrations of viking art , tapestry, woodcarving and silver statuet that all show warriors riding horses into battle. The Bayeux tapestry is proof that horses were carried carried on ships in this period . River raiders or whatever , VIKINGS USED HORSES .

This conflikt didn`t started in 1938, but in 1919 when CZS army camed on Zaolzie and was moveing to Krakow, was stopped by protests of "entente". In 1920 Poland gaved this occupied terrain to Czechoslovakia.
In 1938 it wasn`t cooperation with Germans, they even wanted to take Zaolzie and that`s why army needed to came there, CZS gov get separate ultimatum and signed it. That had nothing to do with Munich conferrence or Germans.

their battle plan was to lure heavy knights onto thin ice . Slavs decent from swedish colonies , but they never used viking long boats and infact were actually raided by the vikings later on. Slavic tribs were too deep into the main land to be forced to rely on boats same way as norwegians and swedes did. Rorik isn`t Slavic name, Oleg (Helgi) the same, Varingas were olso vikings. You cannot read old chronicles not considering fact who and what for wrote that, so it`s hard to find real story behind it. Not only Russians were Slavic vikings and i can bet that wasn`t just struggle of two nations, rather cooperation, but not all east-Slavic tribes joined them. Maybe some north tribes did, but there are reports about conquareing rest.

Uhm no! Russians are a mix of Slavic, baltic, Finnic, Varagian and some nobility intermarried with Turkic/Mongols but at a minimal level. It's Polish movie "Stara Baśń". The title means "The Old Tale", it's based on the book written by J.I.Kraszewski, great Polish novelist, who wrote many books which describe history of Poland, but most characters are fictitious.
The "Stara Baśń" movie was realised in 2003, directed by Jerzy Hoffman.

Ok I tell You true. One of my grandmothers before war was live in Rostow -USSR . She Was Russian girl- 16 years old. Germans take her forced to Deutchland for work. After war she decided stay in Poland. She married my Grandfather who was a Pole. But Stalin has a different plans. My Grandmother red army packed with others Russians to train. She Was pregnant. My Grandfather abducted her. He saved her life because any Russian who stay in Poland without permission after war was killed as a traitor.

Nono, nie zapomnij, że to nie najazdy osłabiły Polskę tylko durna szlachta, co szponami trzymała się władzy i uporczywie utrzymywała nieudolny system polityczny! Powstanie Chmielnickiego ukazał już egzystującą słabość Polski a najazd szwedzki był wykorzystaniem tej ukazanej słabości. Tak to widzi cała historiografia z Jasienicą włącznie.

Ja chyba moge wytłumaczyć - to scena kiedy wojownicy najeźdzcy stracili swojego wodza w bitwie ze słowiańskim wodzem. Umowa była taka, że ród wygranego wodza przejmuje władze nad ziemią, a przegranego - odchodzi. Wódz najeźdzcy przegrał, a wojowie postanowili odebrać sobie życie by nie żyć w hanbie (jakoś tak mniej więcej w filmie to było).

The Normans were descended from vikings who settled in France ,. When they invaded England in 1066, they recorded their exploits in the Bayeux tapestry. It clearly shows soldiers loading horses onto viking type ships and riding them in battle when they got to England , so maybe the idea of Vikings on horses is not so crazy as it might first appear.

Nono, nie zapomnij, że to nie najazdy osłabiły Polskę tylko durna szlachta, co szponami trzymała się władzy i uporczywie utrzymywała nieudolny system polityczny! Powstanie Chmielnickiego ukazał już egzystującą słabość Polski a najazd szwedzki był wykorzystaniem tej ukazanej słabości. Tak to widzi cała historiografia z Jasienicą włącznie.
