Actually I'm a reformed optimist. Did they dance
the tango on the deck of the Titanic? I hope so; why not? Eat, drink, and be merry. . .

Qué hermoso tango! Me gustaría conocer la letra, en castellano o en inglés; si alguien la tiene... Gracias!

Grzegorz, Thank you for this splendid tango and the introduction to Wertinsky. Your visual is wonderful. I love the stunning dress the "Beauty in Exile" is wearing and I love the art of Daineka. I am saddened by the fact that he may have been an agent and the reminder of the fate of Pyotr Leschenko (my all time favorite) since I first heard "Wino Lubwi" on you channel so long ago. Spasiba.

Never heard before of Wertyński, but this is great.

Thank you very much for the music and for the pictures. A lovely voice, really. The community of Russian emigrants (les Russes Blancs) was also very important in Nice, on the French riviera.

Beautiful melody with your usual fine images
despite the unfortunate political implications.
Speaking of which, buddy, can you spare a zloty for me?

Lovely delicate orchestration and passionate singing. Love the Gypsy flavored violin playing. Beautiful art too; that Montmartre painting is dazzling.
